Moyo Island is located in the north of Sumbawa Besar, by decree of the Ministry of Forestry and Plantation of Republic Indonesia no. 308/KPTs-11/1986 dated 24 September 1986 it is decided to be a Nature Park Marine and Hunting Park Island. there are two alternatives to get there, through the land by car and air. by car, you can rent a car or using a travel agency that takes approximately 6 hours trip from Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara province; with the details 2 hours from Mataram to Kayangan seaport, then takes a ferry to Sumbawa island (Poto Tano Port) about 1 – 2 hours, and Poto Tano to Sumbawa Besar another 2 hours.
Airway could use a chartered helicopter landing on the helipad and could have been provided in Moyo Island.
