Moyo Island

Moyo Island is located in the north of Sumbawa Besar, by decree of the Ministry of Forestry and Plantation of Republic Indonesia no. 308/KPTs-11/1986 dated 24 September 1986 it is decided to be a Nature Park Marine and Hunting Park Island. Several years ago, Moyo Island has been visited by Lady Diana.

How to get there from Lombok?

there are two alternatives to get there, through the land by car and air. by car, you can rent a car or using a travel agency that takes approximately 6 hours trip from Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara province; with the details 2 hours from Mataram to Kayangan seaport, then takes a ferry to Sumbawa island (Poto Tano Port) about 1 – 2 hours, and Poto Tano to Sumbawa Besar another 2 hours.

Airway could use a chartered helicopter landing on the helipad and could have been provided in Moyo Island.
