Rinjani Trekking 3D2N Crater, Lake & Hot Spring

Day 0 (Arrival Day)

• Your driver will pick you up at any place or port within Lombok and drive you to your hotel in Senaru
• After checking in and if time enough, your guide will invite you to visit the two spectacular waterfalls in Senaru (as a bonus and only available if you take our Deluxe package)
• You will get a further short briefing for a better preparation

Day 1: 8 Hours Ascent To The Campsite (Senaru Crater Rim)

• Wake up at 6 AM,  get your free breakfast at the restaurant at 6.30 AM
• Meet with your guide and porters
• At 7 AM, your driver will drive you to the starting point in Senaru (601 m)
• Do a registration at Rinjani National Park Office in Senaru Gate, be sure you bring your passport to the office then get your ticket
• After that, begin the trek to the POST 1 (900 m). The first hours of the trek climb through thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies.
• Arrive at the post 1 after walking for 45 minutes, take a short break for 10 – 15 minutes.
• The trek continues to the POST 2 (1,500 m) through the jungle where you will be shadowed by the sun, walk in the humid temperatures and it will protect you from the sunshine. along the way up you will see and found many big trees sound of the animal monkey black/brown monkey can be seen and hear
• After 3 hours walk, you will reach the post 2 where you will have a long break for lunch and recover your energy
• Then the trek continue heading to the POST 3 (2,000 m) for 2 hours hike up
• Still in the middle of the tropical rainforest, the route to the post 3 is more uphill
• Beware! here there are many brown monkeys live, sometime they will stealing your small backpack, so make sure don’t leave it away from you
• Once you reach post 3, you can take a break for a few minutes before straight to the campsite at Senaru Crater Rim (2.641m)
• After 25 minutes walk from post 3, then you will out from the tropical rainforest, walk on the Savanna on the hills with open views
• The trail quite steep but beautiful scenery of the 40% over Senaru village
• After 2 hours 30 minutes ascent, you will reach Senaru Crater Rim (2.641m)
• Once there, you will see one of the spectacular views of sunset and the best viewpoint of Mount Baru Jari at the center of the lake, shootout to 3 Gilis and Mount Agung in Bali
• While you enjoying the views, the guide will prepare your dinner and overnight here

Day 2: Descent For 2 Hours 30 Minutes To The Lake and Hot Springs – 3 Hours Ascent Back To Senaru Crater Rim

• Wake up in the morning to get the  sunrise and enjoying your hot drink
• At 7 AM, get your breakfast and prepare to continue heading to the Segara Anak Lake
• Visiting the hot spring just 10 minutes from the lake
• Enjoy your lunch and take your time to explore the lake and prepare to continue the trek ascent back to Senaru Crater Rim
• Ascent to Senaru Crater Rim for 3 hours up
• Enjoy the sunset, dinner and overnight at the crater

Day 3: Descent For 5 – 6 Hours To Senaru Village – Finish

• Wake up to see the sunrise, get a hot drink and your breakfast
• After breakfast, prepare yourself to continue the trek down to Senaru Village
• You will spend 5 – 6 hours down (**including your lunch on the way)
• Once you arrive at the village, your driver is already waiting to pick you up and bring you to the office
• Drop off to your next destination
